“Native Khan” wins for Ralph!

Saturday 21st August; A lovely bright and sunny day!  First appointment was at 9 at  a lovely barn conversion with spectacular views front and back,  then a second viewing on a big house,   which sounds rather promising.  Keeping my fingers crossed.   Fitted in a chance to do my weekend shopping around the town.  And there were crowds of folk in town all enjoying the splendid, and very welcome,  sunshine The weather was so good decided to do the rest of my  visits in the Merc.  Final job was out at Lakeside and finished around 3.  Had a single bet on “Native Khan” which kindly performed well and returned  some nice “folding money” from Chas Kendall. Met Alan at 5 for a couple of “swift halves” which developed into a few more “swift halves”.  A very pleasant early evening.
