SUNDAY 8th JANUARY
Woke up to a rather wet morning. A bit of a disappointment as I had hoped it was going to be fine enough to get out on the Bandit. Had a bit of a lie-in and read the papers in bed. Enjoyed my LDSB followed by a FE and simply pottered around all day. Went out to meet up with the Cocktails @ 5 crew. Whilst there we received the news of the sudden death of a dear and close friend. The crew then disbanded and made their way off home., each of us totally devastated at the news. R.I.P. old friend.
