THURSDAY 5th JANUARY
Another wild and windy day! Lots of alerts on the radio of driving problems and property damage. Every cloud has a silver lining so the car-recovery men, the roofers and builders, and the tree-surgeons will all be busy as a consequence! Had a nice busy day adn put a very nice Cottage on the market ( Details available Friday) and felt “comfortable” with myself. On the “down” side, realised that I need to pay my Income Tax by the end of the month. That on top of my V.A.T I’m going to be skint. Again! Can I ask for your sympathy? Thought so! I went out to the first Farmers Quiz of 2012 and the place was packed. They had all been suffering from QWS as there had been no quiz for 2 weeks. Figured it out yet? (Quiz Withdrawal Symptoms). There was a very nice atmosphere in the pub and the chance to win £171.25 was with James who FAILED to answer the question correctly. ( In which year was the Ibrox Park Disaster?) Do you know. I will tell you all tomorrow. So the Rollover should be about £200 next Thursday.
