Monday 25th January; Busy right from the word “Go”. Measured up a lovely house and it will be on the web on Tuesday. Have 2 to go to on Tuesday so the work is coming in nicely. Met up with a lovely couple in Barrow who I had not seen for ages, so we enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat trying to catch up. She is the double of her mother! One of those lucky types who simply looks lovely all the time, regardless of what she is wearing or what she is doing. A lovely nature to go with it too. Was invited to Clare’s for tea. A very nice chicken pie with lots of fresh veg. Nice. Home then and caught up with a few phone calls and got set for University Challenge. Usually I make an immediate selection as to which team will win based on what they look like and what subjects they are studying. Not terribly scientific but it has proved to work many, many, times. But not last night. I got it wrong BIG STYLE! My team were flattened! Afterwards watched Delia and another Mock the Week, an hour of Classic FM then off to bobo’s.

What like 50% of the time?
HI Barry,
My “hit rate” is well in excess of 50%. Have you never tried to do the same?
Assess how sharp they look, variety of disciplines. I really got it bad this week adn it was all down to buzzer speed.
